Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website or book a pilgrimage with us.
1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of umrahpackages.bd and any Umrah or Hajj package you book with us. UmrahPackages.bd is an initiative of Haramain Touch, operating from Dhaka, Bangladesh. By using this website or making a booking, you agree to these terms.
2. Website Use
You may browse our website freely; no registration is required. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or copy our text, images, or design for commercial use without written permission. All content on this website remains our property or that of its rightful owners.
3. Package Information and Pricing
We take care to keep package details and prices accurate, but airfares, hotel rates, and Saudi government fees change frequently. Prices shown on this website are indicative and are confirmed only when we issue you a written quotation or invoice.
- Prices are quoted per person in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) unless stated otherwise.
- Meals are not included unless expressly listed in your package.
- Hotel names, distances, and categories are subject to availability at the time of booking.
- Sample itineraries and price ranges shown in our guides are general market estimates, not offers.
4. Booking and Payment
A booking is confirmed only once we have received your deposit and the required documents, and have issued you a written confirmation.
- A deposit of 30% is payable at the time of booking.
- The balance is due 7 days before departure.
- Late payment may result in cancellation of your reservation and loss of the deposit.
- Always obtain a receipt for any payment made, and pay only into our official accounts.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
If you need to cancel, notify us in writing as early as possible. Refunds depend on how much of your booking we have already committed to airlines, hotels, and visa processing, which is often non-refundable once issued.
- Cancellation more than 30 days before departure: 95% of the package price refunded.
- Cancellation within 15 days of departure: 90% refunded.
- Visa fees, issued air tickets, and confirmed hotel bookings are generally non-refundable.
- No refund is available for unused services once the journey has begun.
Refunds, where due, are processed within 30-60 working days of written confirmation.
6. Visas, Passports, and Documents
We assist with your Umrah or Hajj visa application and guide you through the required paperwork. However, the decision to grant or refuse a visa rests solely with the Saudi authorities, and we cannot guarantee approval.
- You are responsible for holding a valid passport with at least six months’ validity.
- You must provide accurate documents and information; delays caused by incorrect or late documents are not our responsibility.
- If a visa is refused, we will refund what remains recoverable after non-refundable costs.
7. Travel Requirements and Health
You are responsible for meeting all health and vaccination requirements set by Saudi Arabia, including the mandatory meningococcal (ACWY) vaccination. We recommend consulting your doctor before travel, particularly for elderly pilgrims or those with medical conditions. Umrah involves substantial walking, and you should be reasonably fit for the journey.
8. Changes by Us
Occasionally we may need to alter arrangements — for example a change of hotel of a similar standard, a revised flight schedule, or an adjusted itinerary. We will inform you as early as possible and arrange a comparable alternative. Where a significant change materially reduces the value of your package, you may accept the alternative or cancel for a refund of recoverable amounts.
9. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
We are not liable for failures or delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including flight cancellations, airline schedule changes, weather, strikes, epidemics, changes in Saudi entry rules or quota policy, government restrictions, or acts of God. In such cases we will do our best to support you and recover what we can on your behalf.
10. Your Conduct During the Journey
Pilgrims are expected to respect the laws of Saudi Arabia, follow the guidance of our group leaders, and observe the dignity of the holy sites. We reserve the right to withdraw services, without refund, from anyone whose behaviour endangers or seriously disrupts other pilgrims.
11. Travel Insurance
Health insurance is included with your Umrah visa as required by Saudi regulations. We strongly recommend arranging additional travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical treatment, and loss of belongings, as the mandatory cover is limited.
12. Limitation of Liability
We act as an organiser and coordinator between you and independent suppliers such as airlines, hotels, and transport operators. While we select our partners carefully, we are not liable for their independent acts or omissions. Our liability in any event is limited to the amount you paid us for the package concerned.
13. Complaints
If something goes wrong during your journey, tell your group leader or contact our office immediately so we can try to resolve it on the spot. If the matter remains unresolved, write to us within 30 days of your return and we will investigate.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking is the one that applies to you.
